New Patients at Mason Family Chiropractic
Whether you are new to chiropractic care or our practice, knowing what to expect helps you feel more relaxed and comfortable with your appointments.
Before Your Appointment
One of the first questions that people have when they set their appointments with Dr. Mason is, “What should I wear?” We recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothes. If you are not able to change clothes before your appointment, we can provide gowns and shorts.
You can print our patient forms before your appointment and complete them at your convenience. Be sure to bring your insurance information, patient forms, labs, and x-rays to your appointments.
ONLINE FORMS »
You are warmly greeted by our front desk staff who helps you complete the check-in process. Expect your first appointment to last 1.5 hours. This gives you time to complete the patient information forms, medical history, assessment, and other paperwork. You can also print the forms and complete them before your appointment.
Dr. Mason reviews your x-rays and lab results while we enter your information into our medical record system. She also reviews your responses in the assessment, such as your personal goals for treatment, quality of life concerns, symptoms, and why you are choosing to have chiropractic care.
During the appointment, Dr. Mason may perform a foot scan and cold laser treatment. If you do not have current x-rays, she may refer you to a nearby medical facility. X-rays are important because they allow Dr. Mason to identify any musculoskeletal issues that may be contributing to your symptoms.
Dr. Mason explains her findings in the x-rays, foot scan, and labs. She will provide an initial treatment during the appointment and outline her recommendations for follow-up care.
Your follow-up appointments at Mason Family Chiropractic are shorter than your initial appointment, yet she always ensures that you receive the attention and care that you deserve. She discusses any improvements or concerns that you may have, and she provides treatments that will help.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. A finance charge of 1.50% per month (18% annual) will be added on accounts not paid within 30 days from the end of the month for which services were rendered.
Mason Family Chiropractic accepts most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare. Our front desk staff takes care of payments after you see Dr. Mason for treatment. Be sure to ask about our ChiroHealthUSA® program.
